According to the US Department of Labor, job growth for nutritionists, in general, is expected to be quite favorable through 2014. With a growing emphasis on preventative medicine, proper health and diet, and organic food, it is easy to see why those with nutritionist training will have plenty of opportunities in the coming years. Not only can you enjoy substantial demand, but you will also be able to earn a respectable income. In 2004, the median salary was just over $43,000.
